Working with Aboriginal Australians + Taster day
This unit gives you an introduction to Christians, wanting to work with Aboriginal Australians, along with introduction of topics that are covered within 'Transition Training for Remote Indigenous Ministry' (T-TRIM) course.
Taster Day
Have you thought about:
- Aboriginal Languages?
- Have you recognised that each set of Languages also brings different ways of being polite? The Manners Across Languages
- The CQ Wheel and that you can apply it to any cross cultural topic you are working through?
- “Humbug” or “demand sharing” in a positive and deeper understanding?
- How to identify church in an Aboriginal community?
- Have you heard of the 3D gospel?
- Have you considered health?
- And much more!
This taster day gives you a taste of the topics that are on offer for the rest of the course. You can choose to do these units another time.
